Rubicon Associates is delighted to welcome Naval Architect -Chance Ong to our ever-expanding engineering team.
Chance gained his qualifications from the Australian Maritime College graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (Naval Architecture), First Class Honours.
We first met Chance working together over an extended period on the HMAS CHOULES Refit and were impressed with his work ethic, knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
With 5 Years’ experience as a highly focused and motivated Naval Architect, Chance brings to Rubicon advanced capabilities including Structural Analysis ranging from localised finite element analysis (FEA) through to global ship structure analysis.
We are thankful that Chance agreed to take the next step in his career with a relocation to Melbourne to start with Rubicon Associates.
Chance was enticed by the range of diversified work we could offer. From our perspective, Chance is a valuable addition particularly with his range of skills, depth of experience, and his alignment to Rubicon Associates’ commitment to promoting excellence in maritime engineering.
In his spare time, Chance is adventurous and is willing to try new experiences. His latest being cycling and diving.
